Gypsophila 'Summer Sparkles' is a compact gypsophila, forming densely branched, rounded clumps of grey-green foliage. From late-spring masses of small, semi-double, fragrant white flowers appear until midsummer.

'Summer Sparkles' is perfect for growing towards the middle of herbaceous borders, and makes an excellent 'filler' plant for gaps in ornamental displays. The flowers are long-lasting and work well in cut flower arrangements.

For best results grow Gypsophila 'Summer Sparkles' in moist but well-drained, slightly alkaline soil. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage repeat flowering. Avoid disturbing plants once established, and cut down plants in spring.
