Plant details
As the name suggests 'Ripe corn' produces bright golden flowers the colour of sweet corn. These form tiny clusters of thin petals all along the branches in late winter and early spring. Hamamelis will grow on most soils but for best results grow them on an acidic soil. Alternatively grow plants in large pots and move to a prominent position when in flower. The flowers last well indoors when cut.
