Plant details
Best used for covering a low wall, this ivy is undemanding and will grow happily in sun or shade and is not particular about the soil type. It also requires little maintenance. 'Goldchild' is a compact variety with light green leaves, edged with bright yellow, which fade to grey-green as it ages. It does not produce flowers or berries. This plant can also be used for ground cover, and will usefully scramble over banks and slopes. This plant has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
