Plant details
Formerly called H. 'Goldheart' and 'Jubildum Goldherz'. Ornamental ivies are easily propagated by cuttings taken throughout late spring to late summer, and a single plant can find many uses all round the garden. Use it to cover a small area of wall in shade where few other plants thrive - it can be trained to climb up or spread out along a low wall. Being evergreen, it is perfect for covering pergola poles, creating a leafy backdrop under clematis, and helps cover netting supports attractively. Effective ground cover, but tends to lose its gold colouring in shade.
