Heucheras are attractive, mound-forming plants, perfect for growing in light shade. There are many heuchera cultivars to choose from, coming in a range of unusual colours and forms.

Heuchera 'White Cloud' has mottled green and white leaves. In summer, clouds of pretty white flowers appear on tall stems. Grow it in partial shade towards the front of the border, or in containers to brighten up a shady spot, in moist but well-drained soil or compost. Trim away tired foliage in spring.
