Hosta 'Shade Fanfare'

Hosta 'Shade Fanfare' has light green leaves with wide creamy white margins. Lavender flowers appear on tall stems in July. It's perfect for growing in a shady border or pot, and is particularly useful for using to edge paths.

For best results grow Hosta 'Shade Fanfare' in moist but well-drained soil in partial shade, ideally with a little morning sun as this improves the leaf colour. Mulch annually with well-rotted manure or compost, and protect plants from slugs and snails.
