Plant details
Busy Lizzies have become one of the most popular summer bedding plants of all time, and the choice of varieties is bewildering. Although single plants are perhaps more floriferous in good bright light, all varieties thrive in shade, one of the plant's great attractions and an advisable precaution with double kinds, which tend to suffer in very hot sunny weather (and also in heavy rain). Compact varieties are best at withstanding wind. 'Pink Ruffles' is an outstanding double variety, with neat dense plants almost covered in blooms, and stunning in any position.
