Plant details
The bold, divided leaves of this attractive plant form a backdrop for the large, trumpet-shaped, white flowers which appear in early summer. This perennial is a robust grower that thrives in any soil, apart from solid clay, and at around 50cm (20in) tall, it is great for the front or middle of the border. It may be a little frost-tender, so will appreciate a mulch of straw over winter in colder areas.
