Plant details

This brightly coloured climber blooms throughout the summer. Plants are found growing wild in South-East USA and enjoy a sunny, sheltered site. Sow seeds each spring at 18C (64F). Soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing. Wait until the danger of frost has passed in May or June before moving the plants outside. The seeds are highly toxic if ingested.
