Plant details

This beautiful spring-flowering plant produces pure white flowers with a hint of yellow at their base, rising up from slender, bright green, strappy leaves. Like most irises, the plant prefers moist, neutral to slightly acid soil in sun or partial shade. It's clump-forming so it also needs sufficient space around it to spread out. It looks its best planted in bold drifts or beside water as a marginal pond plant.
