Plant details
A most attractive golden juniper that grows slowly, making an upright conical shape. It keeps its colour well all year round, but may scorch in very hot sun especially if the soil is dry - plant where it will be in very light shade in this situation. However like other junipers it is generally tolerant of dry soil which makes it suitable to plant alongside a patio, in a gravel garden or on a large rock garden. Team with spreading junipers to make a feature. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
