Mini vegetables are very popular at the moment and 'Mini Green' is the first mini iceberg lettuce available. The solid dark green heads grow to the size of a tennis ball or slightly larger and have crispy, succulent and tasty leaves. They are ideal for individual portions, with very little waste. Mini vegetables help solve the problem of having to keep half an unused lettuce in the fridge. 'Mini Green' is also an excellent variety to grow where space is limited and can even be grown in frames and polytunnels. Mini Green is also less susceptible to tip-burn than most head lettuces and has a excellent resistance to bolting.
