Plant details
One of Anne Swithibank's favourite orchids, this species bears rose-pink flowers with reddish purple lips and yellow throats in winter. It is an epiphytic orchid that is best grown in a specialist compost in a slatted basket. In summer, it needs moist, shady conditions. Water freely and mist once or twice a day. Feed at every third watering. During winter, provide full light and water sparingly.
