Lavandula 'Sawyers'

Plant details

Lavandula 'Sawyers' is a hybrid between Lavandula lanata and Lavandula angustifolia. It's an attractive and unusual lavender, bearing handsome grey foliage and a prolific display of opulent, fragrant purple blooms. Like all lavenders it enjoys a hot sunny positition and its flowers are a magnet for bees. It's well suited to growing at the front of a sunny border or in a container, and makes an excellent cut flower.

Grow Lavandula 'Sawyers' in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Trim annually to prevent leggy and untidy growth.
