Lilium 'After Eight' is an attractive lily with large, freckled, dark pink flowers, edged with white. The bulbs are best planted in autumn while they're still plump. They should be planted at three times their own depth, with equivalent spacing between bulbs. In the border, they enjoy well-drained soil in full sun, with shade at the base. Alternatively Lilium 'After Eight' can be planted in deep containers, in loam-based compost.
