Plant details

There are many different mints available from nurseries, each with a subtly different aroma. Pineapple mint has pineapple-scented foliage and oval, hairy and wrinkled leaves. Pink or white tubular flowers appear in summer on branched spikes. Use this tasty mint to flavour new potatoes. This form has variegated leaves of green and white, which makes it a colourful addition to herb gardens.
