Plant details
This tall-growing grass is excellent for the back of the border, where it will form a good backdrop to shorter growing grasses and perennials. The long ribbon like foliage is streaked with white. In late summer it produces long, attractive plumes of silvery flowerheads that last well into the winter. Like all miscanthus, clumps will benefit from being cut back hard in the spring to encourage new growth.
