Actaea' is a member of the poeticus division of daffodils. In late spring, single, fragrant white flowers are produced with flattened, bowl-shaped trumpets of yellow edged in red. All daffodils enjoy most soils that are well-drained but moist during the growing season. Plant bulbs at one and half times their own depth in sun or partial shade. The Royal Horticultural Society have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
