Catmints add a gentle touch to cottage gardens, and are extremely popular with bees and other pollinators. Unlike other nepetas, Nepeta grandiflora has an upright habit and doesn't need staking.
Nepeta grandiflora 'Dawn to Dusk' bears light pink blooms on tall, upright stems, contrasting with fragrant, fresh green leaves. Like many catmints, 'Dawn to Dusk' may prove appealing to cats, though if they eat an excessive amount of the foliage it can give them an upset stomach.
Grow Nepeta grandiflora 'Dawn to Dusk' in well-drained soil towards the middle of a border, in full sun to partial shade. Lift and divide congested clumps in spring.
