Plant details
This bushy perennial from Kashmir brings welcome late summer colour to the garden. From mid-summer until early autumn, it produces dense spikes of purplish-blue flowers which bees love. Once the blooms begin to fade, cut the flowering stems back to ground level to keep plants looking tidy and to encourage a second flush of flowers. Grow in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
