Nepeta nervosa 'Blue Moon' bears dense spikes of purple-blue flowers from midsummer to autumn. It's extremely attractive to bees and is also the caterpillar foodplant for the pretty mint moth, Pyrausta aurata.
Grow Nepeta nervosa 'Blue Moon' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Once the blooms begin to fade, cut the flowering stems back to ground level to keep plants looking tidy and to encourage a second flush of flowers.
