Plant details

This species is a vigorous but short-lived tender perennial. It has broad, spoon-shaped leaves and generous stems of large, funnel-shaped, white flowers whose petal backs are greenish in colour. During the day the blooms wilt, but from early evening onwards, they perk up and emit a seductive fragrance. This plant prefers a sunny or partially shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil.

I thought the flwers were so pretty when I got my two small tobacco plants, but now I am wondering if they will survive the winter if I put them in an immovable pot. Please help!
