Plant details
Also known as 'Hollandia', this water lily has striking double pink blooms which are almost peony-like in appearance. The inner petals are a delicate light pink, turning darker as the flower develops, whilst the outer petals are white with a pinkish hue. The flowers are supported on large, dark green flat leaves that can spread up to two metres across, so this plant is really only suitable for larger ponds and water features. The flowers are also popular as cut flowers due to their rich honeyed scent.
