Plant details
Oregano is a lovely plant for the herb garden. Use it to give pasta and pizza dishes a Mediterranean taste. Plants normally have mid-green leaves. However, the cultivar 'Aureum Crispum' produces attractive, curly, golden leaves that make it a lovely specimen for a pot or window-box. From mid-summer to early autumn, tubular, pink flowers and purple tinted bracts appear.
