Plant details
The scented, double white Duchesse is a big must for the late spring / early summer border, and has everything you could want, making an excellent contrast with any of the rich red peonies like P. officinalis Crimson Globe. To get the best out of it, provide deep, rich soil, and do not the crown any more than 2.5cm (1in) below the soil surface. It has been given the Award of Garden Merit (AGM) by the Royal Horticultural Society.
