There is an enormous selection of scented pelargoniums, with aromas ranging from sweet citrus to pungently pine. They have a unique fascination, and rubbing their foliage to explore their perfumes is irresistible. The plants make excellent house- and conservatory subjects, but are also successful when grown outdoors as pot plants and border specimens in summer. Pelargonium 'Attar of Roses' has small, pink clusters of flowers. It has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit (AGM) by the Royal Horticultural Society.
