Plant details

Regal pelargoniums are the sophisticated relatives of the geranium family, sometimes called Martha Washington or Show pelargoniums. They have some of the most gorgeous flowers in the whole genus, large and eye-catching, and almost orchid-shaped with their extravagant colours, frilled or wavy petals and wide open throats, often in contrasting colours. They are sometimes bedded out in the garden, but their flowering season is earlier and shorter than that of bedding geraniums, although they benefit from standing outside in their pots.
