Plant details
Most bedding petunia varieties can be classified as one of two kinds: Multifloras, which have a large number of smaller flowers that tend to be more weather-resistant, and Grandifloras, which have fewer blooms. However, these are enormous and often floppy, making them vulnerable to wind and rain unless grown in sheltered containers where they really star. The Frost range of varieties, there is a good red as well as 'Blue Frost', belong to this group, but combine early flowering with exceptionally good weather resistance.
