Picea pungens 'Globosa' is an extremely slow-growing spruce, which makes a wonderful mound of bobbly blue foliage, with tightly packed branches heading off in all directions. The needles colour-up best in full sun, and the effect is sensational in spring when new growth has a silvery blue sheen.

Grow Picea pungens 'Globosa' with contrasting plants such as heathers, or with vertical conifers. It has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the RHS.
