Agapanthus add a touch of the exotic to the summer garden with their stunning blue flowers held above strappy foliage.

Agapanthus 'Donau' is a late-flowering variety, bearing large, lilac-blue flowers on tall, dark, upright stems. For best results grow in moist but well-drained soil in a sunny spot. In colder regions, mulch the roots to protect from frost in winter. Alternatively, plant Agapanthus 'Donau' in large pots and move to a sheltered spot in autumn.
