Bellis daisies, as they're commonly called, are a familiar ingredient of spring bedding schemes, with a multitude of varied uses. Attractive as edging for beds of other spring-flowering biennials, they also make excellent window box and container plants. There are varieties with enormous monstrous flowers, but Bellis perennis 'Double Pink' remains a popular choice with its neat, tightly packed miniature heads in delicate shades of pink.

Use Bellis perennis 'Double Pink' to fill empty areas at the front of borders, or in rock gardens, where the blooms are sufficiently restrained to blend in.
