Trumpet vine is a vigorous, woody climber, grown for its attractive, ash-like leaves and orange-red, trumpet-like flowers.

Campsis 'Indian Summer' bears apricot-coloured, trumpet-shaped flowers with deeper orange markings, in contrast to lush green leaves. Fast growing, it will quickly cover a wall or fence.

Grow Campsis 'Indian Summer' in moist but well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny spot such as against a warm, sunny wall. Prune back in late winter or early spring to control its growth.
