Clematis ‘Anna Louise’ is a compact, free-flowering clematis, bearing eye-catching violet blooms with reddish-purple markings from late spring to early autumn. It’s perfect for growing among other plants in a mixed, herbaceous border, and is also suitable for training up an obelisk in a container.

Grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun to partial shade. Flowering from May to July, Clematis ‘Anna Louise’ falls into Pruning Group Two. There's no real need to prune, but you may wish to tidy up stems in spring.
