Viticella clematis are tough, fast-growing and hardy, and are ideal for growing through trees and bushes. They typically have bell-shaped, nodding flowers. Clematis 'Jorma' is a free-flowering and vigorous climber, growing to around 300cm in height, and shows good resistance to clematis wilt.

Flowers of 'Jorma' are large, deep purple-blue with yellow-green anthers. It's perfect for growing up a pergola or sturdy obelisk in a large herbaceous border, or allowed to scramble through trees or large shrubs. It also makes a good companion to climbing and shrub roses.

Being a summer-flowering clematis,Clematis 'Jorma' is in Pruning Group Three. Simply cut stems back to the lowest pair of buds in February or March.
