Clematis 'Rosamunde' bears attractive, medium-sized pale satin pink blooms with salmon pink margins and yellowish anthers. It's ideal for growing up obelisks and pergolas, or providing quick cover for a wall or fence. You could also allow it to scramble through a shrub or tree.
Being a summer-flowering clematis, Clematis 'Rosamunde' is in Pruning Group Three. The flowers are formed on the terminal 60cm of the current year's growth, so need to be cut down in late-winter/early spring to ensure flowering remains at eye level. Simply cut stems back to the lowest pair of buds in February or March.
