Daucus carota 'Flyaway' is a 'Nantes' type carrot, bearing blunt-ended, cylindrical roots with a succulent texture and deliciously sweet flavour. It's a popular carrot variety, owing to its superb resistance to carrot fly.

Daucus carota 'Flyaway' crops from early summer to autumn. Sow seed in frames or under cloches, in well-prepared, stone-free soil from March. Continue to sow every fortnight for a continuous crop until autumn, in rows 30cm apart.
