Tasmanian snow gum, Eucalyptus coccifera, is a vigorous tree with bronze-tinged, green juvenile leaves which become silvery grey and fragrant with maturity. As a tree Eucalyptus coccifera develops peeling grey and white bark, often tinged with pink, but it can also be hard-pruned annually and kept as an evergreen shrub, hedge or screen, to promote growth of the prettier, juvenile leaves. Creamy white flowers appear in summer.

Eucalyptus coccifera is one of the few eucalyptus species suitable for container growing. The juvenile leaves are suitable for using in flower arrangements.
