Euphorbia 'Blackbird' is an attractive euphorbia, bearing mounds of evergreen, maroon foliage from which spikes of bright lime-green flowers appear from March to May.

It's ideal for growing as part of a winter or spring container display alongside spring bulbs and winter pansies, but is also suitable for growing towards the front of a mixed herbaceous border. For best results grow in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Take care when pruning, as a white latex exudes from cut stems, which can irritate on contact with the skin.
