Gypsophila 'Pink Sugardot' is a superb plant, bearing carpets of attractive mossy foliage covered with masses of tiny starry flowers throughout summer. The flowering season starts just as the main flush of rock plants is over. Use the mats to trail over the edges of a raised bed, hanging basket or large alpine container, or to ramble over low rocks in a rock feature. It works well when grown aongside Artemisia schmidtiana 'Nana'.

Grow Gypsophila 'Pink Sugardot' in well-drained soil in full sun. Sow seed in March and plant out when all risk of frost has passed. It self-seeds readily.
