Ox-eye daisy, Leucanthemum vulgare, is a perennial wildflower, often found growing in grassland and wildflower meadows. It can often colonise open ground if left to its natural devices and is particularly rampant in fertile soil. It bears a medium to tall un-branched stem topped by a solitary daisy flower from May to September.
