Ligularia przewalskii is a hardy perennial native to North China. It's grown for its tall stems of yellow flowers which appear from mid- to late summer, above attractive, lobed foliage. It's perfect for growing towards the back of an ornamental border and is extremely attractive to pollinators.
Grow Ligularia przewalskii in a sheltered sunny site in moist soil. Propagate by division in spring. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it the prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
