Nepeta nervosa 'Blue Moon' bears dense spikes of purple-blue flowers from midsummer to autumn. It's extremely attractive to bees and is also the caterpillar foodplant for the pretty mint moth, Pyrausta aurata.

Like many catmints, 'Blue Moon' may prove appealing to cats, though if they eat an excessive amount of the foliage it can give them an upset stomach.

Grow Nepeta nervosa 'Blue Moon' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Once the blooms begin to fade, cut the flowering stems back to ground level to keep plants looking tidy and to encourage a second flush of flowers.
