Plant details
This is one of the most attractive potentillas around. The heart-shaped, rich, raspberry red petals form saucer-shaped flowers. This is a wonderful colour in its own right. But with the addition of a deep velvet-red centre, which appears just like an ink blot that has diffused outwards, the flowers really do radiate beauty. Flowering over a long period, this garden treasure is an absolute must for the flower border and cottage garden. Sow seeds in the cold frame in spring or autumn, or divide plants in spring or autumn.
