Cinquefoils form low-spreading clumps which look great in a sunny cottage garden border or raised bed. Where drainage is less than perfect plants are short-lived. 'William Rollison' is a beautiful variety with semi-double yellow or red-orange blooms with yellow centres, which are produced from early to late summer. The Royal Horticultural Society has give it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM) in recognition of its outstanding excellence.
