Prunus laurocerasus, known as cherry laurel provides both flowers in spring and warmer foliage colour in autumn. Prunus laurocerasus ‘Otto Luyken’ bears fruits that resemble cherries, turning from red to black as they mature. Its leaves are shiny and dark green, creating a low, dense cover.
