Rebutia minuscula is a small barrel cactus, native to northern Argentina. It has red-tinged, white spines and is fast growing, forming large clumps within a few years. Pink, funnel-shaped flowers appear from mid spring to summer.

For best results grow Rebutia minuscula in cactus compost in a container. It's ideally grown as a houseplant but may be taken on to a sunny patio in summer. Water sparingly during the growing season, and feed once a month. Stop watering in autumn.
