Plant details
Loder's White' is a vigorous, evergreen rhododendron with large leaves. It starts to flower in midsummer, carrying conical trusses of long-lasting, funnel-shaped flowers. These flowers are white with red flecks on the inside and they are slighly fragrant. They are up to 10cm (4in) long. It does well in a sunny position, but must grow in a moist, humus-rich, acid soil. The Royal Horticultural Society have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
