Rhododendrons make up an incredibly diverse group of plants, originating from many parts of the Northern hemisphere with a large concentration in China and the Himalayas. These plants vary from tiny ground covering plants to species growing as understory plants in forests. Most flower in early spring, although some bear flowers for a brief period in autumn. Rhododendron ‘Dora Amateis’ is a small shrub, this evergreen bears many clusters of white flowers that are speckled with pink and green. It is a smaller cultivar, with neat foliage.
