Plant details

The experts predict a great future for 'Redstart' which is a new variety of redcurrant from East Malling Research Station. It fruits very late, cropping in mid-August. The sharp-tasting fruits are great for adding to summer pudding and for making into jelly to eat with meats such as lamb. This plant is easily grown in well-drained soil in partial shade.
