This is a popular and well-known ground cover rose with deep pink, white-eyed flowers. It is smaller than some spreading varieties, making more of a mound than a carpet, but very popular, disease-free, and very attractive all summer when covered with the small old-fashioned semi-double flowers. It is best planted in full sun in a warm spot to extend the flowering season even further, and good feeding, both at planting time and during the season is appreciated. It makes a fine semi-trailing container shrub. Prune, simply trim back to within its designated space in late winter ot early spring.
