Introduced in remembrance of much-loved TV presenter Jill Dando, this free-flowering shrub rose produces masses of cherry pink flowers with golden stamens. Its simplicity makes it an ideal choice for romantic, cottage garden-style displays. Try it with lavender, pink foxgloves and silver-leaved artemisia.< As a shrub rose, it is best pruned in late summer, after flowering has finished. Prune most stems lightly. To encourage young, vigorous growth, cut back a few of the oldest stems each year.
