This fine old rose is sometimes known as a Wichurana rambler, and it inherits the typical Wichurana qualities of vigour and very flexible long canes, which make it an ideal choice for training on garden structures and also for growing as ground cover. It produces large clusters of fragrant, pure white , small, double flowers in August. These are set off beautifully by the glossy, mid-green foliage. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
